Hope isn't bound by our circumstances.
Hope Unbound means that the hope we have in Jesus Christ isn't held captive by our circumstances. It doesn't mean life will be easy or every prayer will be answered the way we want. It means that even in grief, uncertainty, and disappointment, we can keep looking to Him.
Hope Unbound is a fierce declaration that the grave is empty, our chains are broken, and the relentless hope of Jesus Christ cannot be shackled by this world.
I know what it's like to need hope.
I'm Ben Burrow—a husband, a dad, and someone who serves at his church. I don't have all the answers, but I know what it's like to walk through seasons with more questions than answers.
I started Hope Unbound because I wanted to encourage people in those places and point them toward Jesus. If I or Hope Unbound leads just one person closer to Christ, then it's all worth it.
Hope is still on the horizon.
Hope has a name. His name is Jesus.
Everything behind Hope Unbound comes back to Jesus Christ.
Scripture tells us that sin separates us from God. But Jesus died for our sins and rose again, making forgiveness and new life possible. We can't earn that gift by being good enough. We receive God's grace through faith in Jesus, turning from sin and learning to follow Him.
Maybe you've known Him for years, maybe you've drifted away, or maybe you're not sure what you believe. Wherever you're starting, you're welcome here. If you have questions about following Jesus, I'd be glad to hear from you.
This is just the beginning.
Hope Unbound started with a book, but I don't want it to end there.
I don't know exactly what comes next, and I'm not going to pretend that I do. What I do know is that my heart is to keep encouraging people, especially those walking through some of life's hardest seasons.
For now, I'm taking it one step at a time, trusting God with whatever comes next. I believe there's more to come.
